Turn study notes into a podcast episode for your study group
Paste readings, lecture notes or a summary and poddub turns them into a short private podcast episode: an audio briefing for your study group, with chapters and a transcript, to listen to between sessions.
Notes to hear between sessions
A study group writes more than anyone can read before it meets: the notes from a lecture, the summary of a reading, the points to go over next time. poddub turns what you wrote into a short podcast episode, on a private feed for the group.
Think of it as a private podcast made from notes the group already keeps, read by one narrator or talked through by two hosts, as long as you choose. Listen on the way to class, on a walk or at the gym. Catching up doesn't need a desk.
Who it is for
A study group, a reading circle, a few classmates preparing for the same exam: anyone who studies with other people and shares notes. Beyond work, poddub is the same app with the same private feeds.
Whoever keeps the notes pastes them in, and everyone in the group hears the same episode before you meet.
From notes to an episode in three steps
Sign in to the poddub app with your email address and invite the people in your group: each of them installs poddub, signs in with that address and accepts. Everything below happens in the app.
Paste the notes
Paste the lecture notes, the summary of a reading or a list of bullet points into the app, and pick the team it is for: the whole group, or one course. If the notes come from several people, paste each one as a source and make one episode from several. Then choose one narrator or two hosts, the language and the length.
Read and approve the script
poddub writes the script and stops. Read it line by line and correct a name, a date or a term by hand, since whatever you write is spoken as it stands. Have poddub write a line or the whole script again where it needs to, and approve it. Nothing is spoken before that.
Publish to the group
When the audio is ready, publish it to its team, or to everyone in the group when your role allows it. It reaches them in the app and in their private feeds.
What the group gets
A short episode with chapters, so someone can go back to the part they did not follow, and a transcript for anyone who would rather read. Everyone listens in the poddub app, or in any podcast app that can add a show by link, with a private link of their own. It stays private.
Every episode starts by saying that its voices are AI-generated, and the same line goes with it to podcast apps.
Two hosts or one narrator
Two hosts suit material worth arguing over, since that format is a dialogue and a debate. One narrator suits a summary to go over before a test, since that format is a briefing.
Pick the language each episode is spoken in: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese or Swedish.
Hear what an episode sounds like
There is no episode made from study notes on poddub's public show yet. Its episodes are poddub's own news, made through poddub: listen to one to hear the voices, the chapters and the pace.
Hear poddub's own showWhat it costs
Reading the script, changing lines and having it written again cost no minutes. Minutes are charged when a script is approved, by the length chosen for the episode. Listening costs no minutes, and every member who listens takes a seat.
The free tier listens and makes nothing. A plan is a number of seats, chosen in the app by an owner of the group; the pricing page says what each plan makes in a month.
