Connect ChatGPT

ChatGPT can work with poddub for you: read your teams, episodes and scripts, paste what shipped, start an episode and shape its script. You connect it by signing in to poddub with your own account, so it acts as you and never does more than you can. ChatGPT cannot use a key: it signs in, and there is no key to set up.

• You need a poddub account. You create it in the poddub app; poddub.com signs in accounts that already exist.
• You add poddub in ChatGPT on the web. Your ChatGPT workspace's settings decide whether you may add a server of your own.

Add poddub to ChatGPTCopy Anchor Link

1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins.
2. Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
3. Enter poddub as the name. Under Connection, enter https://poddub.com/api/mcp as the Server URL, exactly like this, with https:// and without www.
4. Under authentication, choose OAuth. Leave any client ID and secret empty, and if ChatGPT asks how it identifies itself, choose the client metadata document (CIMD).
5. Read the warning and select I understand and want to continue.
6. Select Create as a plugin.

When ChatGPT asks you to sign in to poddub, poddub.com opens:

1. On Sign in to poddub, enter the address of your poddub account under Work email and select Send code.
2. Enter the code from the email under Code and select Sign in.
3. On Choose an organization, choose the organization ChatGPT works in. poddub skips this page when you are already signed in on poddub.com with an organization chosen.
4. On Allow ChatGPT?, choose under What it may do the most it may do. Member is chosen already and is enough for most work, and you can never choose above your own role. Select Allow.

You go back to ChatGPT, connected. If there is no poddub account for your address, poddub.com says so and signs nobody in. Create one in the poddub app, then sign in again.

ChatGPT keeps poddub among your personal plugins, or in the workspace where you added it. Install it there, then start a conversation, type @ in the message box and choose poddub. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before a tool changes something.

ChatGPT works in the organization you chose, as you. It never does more than the role you allowed, nor more than you can do yourself today. It never approves a script unless an owner allowed agents to approve. Agents says what an agent does and never does, and Tools lists every tool.

Open poddub.com/connections, the page called Connected agents, and select End next to ChatGPT, then End connection. It stops at once. Removing poddub in ChatGPT is not listed as ending the connection on poddub: end it on poddub.com/connections. An owner sees everyone's connections in their organization on the same page and can end any of them.

A connection also stops when you leave or are removed from the organization, when the organization is deleted, and when your poddub account is deleted.
