# Turn club updates into a podcast episode for your members

Paste the newsletter, the minutes of a meeting or an announcement and poddub turns it into a short private podcast episode: an audio briefing for your club's members, with chapters and a transcript, on a private feed.

## The newsletter members skip

A club writes more than its members read: the newsletter, the minutes of the last meeting, the dates for the season, the notice about next month's event. poddub turns what you wrote into a short podcast episode, on a private feed for the members.

It is a private podcast in the club's own words, voiced by one narrator or two hosts, as long as you choose. Members hear it on the way to training, on a walk or at home. Catching up doesn't need a desk.

## Who it is for

A club, an association, a choir, a society: any group with someone who writes things down and members who would rather hear them. Beyond work, poddub is the same app with the same private feeds.

The committee keeps writing the newsletter as it always has. The episode is one more way to take it in, for the members who drive, train or walk the dog while they catch up.

## From the newsletter to an episode in three steps

Sign in to the poddub app with your email address and invite the members: each of them installs poddub, signs in with that address and accepts. Everything below happens in the app.

1. **Paste the newsletter** Paste this month's newsletter, the minutes or the announcement into the app and pick the team it is for: the whole club, or one section of it such as the committee. Then choose one narrator or two hosts, the language and the length.
2. **Read and approve the script** poddub writes the script and stops. Read it line by line and correct a name, a date or a place by hand, since whatever you write is spoken as it stands. Have poddub write a line or the whole script again where it needs to, and approve it. Nothing is spoken before that.
3. **Publish to the members** When the audio is ready, publish it to its team, or to everyone in the club when your role allows it. It reaches them in the app and in their private feeds.

## What the members get

A short episode with chapters, so a member can skip to the part about their section, and a transcript for anyone who would rather read. Everyone listens in the poddub app, or in any podcast app that can add a show by link, with a private link of their own. It stays private.

Every episode starts by saying that its voices are AI-generated. The club can reword that line. It cannot remove it.

## Tell everyone else too

You can also put an episode on the club's public show, a page anyone can open and follow, for the news people outside the club should hear: an open day, a concert, a result. A public show takes no seat.

News for members stays on the private feed. Only an episode you release goes to the public show, and a release can be retracted.

## Hear what an episode sounds like

There is no episode made from a club's news on poddub's public show yet. Its episodes are poddub's own news, made through poddub: listen to one to hear the voices, the chapters and the pace.

## What it costs

Reading the script, changing lines and having it written again cost no minutes. Minutes are charged when a script is approved, by the length chosen for the episode. Listening costs no minutes, and every member who listens takes a seat.

The free tier listens and makes nothing. A plan is a number of seats, chosen in the app by an owner of the club; the pricing page says what each plan makes in a month.
